Minor scuffle leaves 2 injured in Lal Bazar

SRINAGAR, Jan 28: A minor scuffle took place at Ummer Colony area in Lal Bazar area of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar on Thursday in which two teenage boys were injured.
Local sources told CNS that two teenage boys were injured during a scuffle during yesterday evening in Lal Bazar area and one among them is said to be critical. However, both of them were shifted to the hospital for treatment.
Both of the boys were identified as MusaibMakdoomi, son of Fayaz Ahmad Makdoomi of Sikhbagh Lal Bazar and Mir Ruban, son of Late Rehman Mir of Hazratbal.
Musaib as per family sources has suffered head injury while Raban has sustained hand injury during the scuffle and both of them are admitted in SKIMS Soura.
When CNS contacted Medical Superintendent SKIMS, Dr Farooq Jan clarified that the condition of Musaib is stable and he under treatment. He added that till all the examinations are not completed nothing can be said.
It is pertinent to mention that last month a minor scuffle led to the death of a Khayyam area of Srinagar city as he was stabbed to death by his friend.
